My motivation in pursuing a career as a mental health counselor is simple: I myself have benefited from life-changing therapy. I feel honored to be able to offer the same to others.
I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Washington.
Prior to my practice as a counselor I worked as a birth doula, helping women and their partners emotionally, physically, and intellectually navigate the birth process and early postpartum time.
I have worked with clients of all ages, including two years working with adolescents in middle school and high school settings helping them more fully understand their family and peer relationships, recover from impacts of abuse and parental addiction, and manage the challenging path toward adulthood.
I am passionate about good food and wine, spending time with family and friends, listening to live music, getting lost in a good book, being outside, learning something new, and hitting the road in pursuit of adventure.
I look forward to journeying with you!
